Buffalo Riverfest Park

This is a new park that opened on June 9th 2013 on the waterfront in the old first ward off Ohio Street. The official address is 249 Ohio Street, Buffalo, NY 14203. I have included a link to Google maps below but in looking at Google Maps, the map hasn’t been updated yet to reflect the new venue.

From the pictures on the web this looks to have a garden area and a few boat slips. Similar to Mutual Riverfront Park, there is a mix of natural surroundings and the old Buffalo industrial sites. I love the edginess of the industrial backdrop mixed with the beauty of nature. This would make for some excellent black and white pictures of the two of you all decked out along with maybe a few Infrared photos for fun! Add a glass plate effect with a soft vignette to a few select photos and you will have pictures to rave over with family and friends. Who says all photos need to be color with pretty flowers around. It is your day, do it up as you want and enjoy!

From their Facebook page it looks like they have a pretty good line up of acts so check that your date does not have a major event going on that day if you like this spot for pictures. There is no phone number for them but it looks like you can message them through their Facebook page if you have questions about the park.
